Awesome Beta Days



The Beta Days were a while ago when Animal Jam looked much different and AJHQ hired people to play for a few hours and test for glitches before they released the game. Here are some links that tell about the Beta Days:

Betas

With all of this talk about Beta days, you might be wondering "What is a beta?". A beta is an item that was sold during the Beta Days.


Coral Canyons Bridge

There is a legend that if you get enough people to jump on the bridge in Coral Canyons, the bridge will break and lead you and all the other jammers to a secret room that will be filled with gems, diamonds, betas, and rares. As far as we know, no one has ever done this before, so it is most likely a myth. But, that doesn't mean it can't happen!


Decorating Dens

Decorating dens is a fun activity!

See M for themes, and P for party themes.

Also, you can have special seasonal dens, like an ice den, or maybe a waterpark!

Ice items come out around the winter, and include cool items like snow shovels, ice prisons, and snowmen. The Jammaliday Jam is great for some of this stuff! Fuzzyshytiger has an amazing den that has everything icey you can think of!

Summer items come out in the summertime! Some items include a waterpark den, beach towels, and beach balls. Plus, many summer parties come out where you can buy more fun summer items!




Epic Wonders

Epic Wonders is a store in Coral Canyons. Epic Wonders is, yes, VERY expensive. Crowns for 3,000 gems. Necklaces for 3,500 gems. Tiny birthstones for 1,500 gems. Yes, it's expensive, but if you are looking to be on the Epic Dens list, this is the place to go.


Free Chat

Have you ever wondered how to get free chat? Here's how! First, you or your parent must log in to your parent account. Don't have a parent account? Go back to the first email AJHQ sent you when you first registered your account. In the email, it lets you register a parent account. It should take you to a screen that says "Player Accounts". Click the username you are trying to get free chat for. Under options, it has three choices: bubble chat, restricted chat, and safe chat.


Bubble Chat- This is where you can't talk and can only use the guide bubbles.

Retricted Chat- This is the usual chat, the one where you can only say certain words.

Safe Chat- This is "free chat", where you can say anything.

Click Safe Chat; you now have free chat!


Glitches

1.) First go to Tierney's Aquarium (In Crystal Sands). Change into a land animal and while it is changing animals, click the pool on the right. You can now stand on water!

2.) Put a long hat such as the rare top hat on a penguin. Sleep and the hat should sink into the floor!

3.) Go to Mt. Shiveer. Change animals and when it is changing, click on the Hot Cocoa Hut door. Now you can stand on the door!

4.) This isn't really a glitch, its more of auto correct. Type "kool" in the chat box. Whenever you press enter, it turns into "cool" on the screen.  (VASILOFCUTIE, one of our friends, taught us this)

5.) This is similiar to Glitch 1. First, go to Mt. Shiveer. Change animals, and while changing, click the doorway of the Hot Cocoa Hut. You can now stand in the doorway!

6.) We found this out on accident. Type "srry" in the chat box. (Srry is a short way of saying sorry). It turns into "sorry!"

7.) Type " :) " into the chat box. It turns into the smiley face icon!

Animal Jam has small purple icons scattered throughout areas on the map and parties. If you click on them, then you can suggest something for AJHQ to add to the game! Do this, and maybe they'll like your idea and use it.


How To Make...



-A football stadium

Small den is recommended. In the shop, you can buy goalposts and footballs. You will need two goalposts ( 1000 gems total) and at least one football ((250 gems per football).  Place the two goalposts on either side, facing each other. For the stands, you need either chairs or couches. Place these on the side of the "field". Feel free to put ice-cream carts, lemonade stands, and smoothie machines in your stadium. On the floors, use grass carpet ( 500 gems), and for the walls, use either blue sky ( 400 gems and nonmember) or starry walls ( 500 gems ).

-A salon

You will need a lot of salon chairs ( 550 gems ). Hanging vines ( 350 gems ) make your salon look tropical & fun. Sunflower lamps ( 350 gems) are great to put in the backs of your chairs. Any chairs for a waiting area and/or a hair section would do great! Make sure you put a desk & chair at the entrance so jammers can check in.  The Fancy Vanity ( 3000 gems ) from Epic Wonders is a great addition. Tiny decorations like lamps & bookshelves will make it look more complete!

-A bounce house

This is simple to make but not simple to save up for! :)  Place striped couches ( 200 gems ) everywhere you look in a small den.

-A school

Have one teacher desk ( 550 gems ) and tons of desks and chairs ( 450 gems ).  Have a chalkboard ( 400 gems ) behind the teacher desk. Place stacks of books ( 350 gems ) throughout the school. Either have picnic tables ( 550 gems ) or tables and chairs in a room for the cafeteria. Spiral lamps ( 75 gems ) would be great, and you can put fun things such as a sandbox outside for recess.

Have you ever wanted to get your den on the Epic Dens list? Well, a party is the key. AJHQ looks for dens that a lot of jammers like to hang out in. Some ideas for a popular party:

- A dance/prom
- A bounce house (See M)

How to Get Rare Quick

To get rare quick, come on every Monday (See letter R). Go on Animal Jam around holidays such as Christmas, New Years, and Easter. Buy items that are on clearance; they will be going away soon. Attend trading parties and have trading parties at your own den. If you do, many people try to trade you. Good luck!

Trading Tips

1.) People don't go under water as much or they just don't have an underwater animal, so if you trade them something that just came out underwater for one of their rare items, they might just accept.

2.) Never scam, and never be fooled by scams. Click here to go to our Scammers page, or see S.

3.) If you are a member, then sometimes you can trade a non-member that day's rare (if it is a member rare) for one of their rares.

Underwater!

To go underwater, you must have either a turtle, seal, penguin, shark, dolphin, or octopus. Members can have underwater dens and buy underwater den items from Sunken Treasures, and both members and non- members can buy underwater clothes items from Bahari Bargains. Every once in a while, the Atlantis Party comes and everyone can buy more underwater things.

When The Summer Carnival Comes

The summer carnival comes to Jamaa during the summer. You can either win tickets by playing games or buy them with your gems (500 gems equals 1000 tickets). With the tickets you buy or earn, you can get extra cool plushies, balloons, ice cream carts, pet roller- coasters,  pretty much anything a real carnival has!

whY buy membership?

Well, first off, it gets you WAY MORE! We're talking way more. You can buy more than one den, buy more then one variety of dens, buy more items, buy more than one variety of pets, buy different types of animals, and buy more then two animals! Plus, you can type in the jamagrams and use diamonds! Sure, its expensive, but if you play it everyday, it's worth it, hands down. What do you all think? Feel free to comment below :D


Create an awesome bedroom that will make you go Zzzzz quick

For Non- Members:

First, you'll need a bed. On the bed, you can put a plushie or two. Colorful pillows or a rug will go good on the ground. If you would like, add a small table or desk and put something fun, like gumdrops or teacups on them. Bookshelves are cool, too. Shelves can display plushies, action figures, and even Beta Adventures prizes. Separate your room from the others with a bamboo fence or two. Add lights and anything else you want!

Hint: For non- members, Beta Adventure prizes really make your den seem cool!

For Members: ( Non- member tips can apply too)

Buy either the non- member or member bed. Put a laptop on your bed, or a plushie. Have a couch near your bed, and put a TV across from it. A fishbowl or pet would look cool. Buy a bookshelf and put a beanbag chair near it. Add lights and anything else you want!
